My Story

I am more like my Grandma than anyone else in the world.  She is fierce, determined and stands up for herself and what she believes in.  I say is, she was.  Over 6 years into Alzheimers and now living in a home, she barely knows who I am.  She barely moved last time I saw her.  She still likes a chat, and I can still make her laugh.  I want to help Alzheimer's research progress to the point where no-one becomes such a shell of their former self like this.  I know cold water swimming helps, and now I've started I won't stop.
