Taking on the Serpentine for MS

My Story

Multiple Schlerosis is something I've seen the impact of on multiple people close to me, so in September I’m taking on Swim Serpentine and fundraising for the MS Society.

The disease leaves so many hard question marks over the lives of the people it affects. Both those with MS, and those who love them.

I desperatley hope we can work out how to stop the condition from progressing. The MS Society is currently conducting world-leading, highly ambitious research. It's the biggest project the MS Society has ever committed to, so support is vital right now.

In terms of Swim Serpentine and the challenge I’ve set myself, this time last year I couldn't swim more than 50m without needing a break. This time two years ago, I couldn't swim at all!

Since then, I've pushed myself and found a love of the water in the process. The one mile Swim Serpentine challenge will be the furthest I've swum and is going to require me to dig deep to get through the course. I'm not buzzing about the cold water temperature or the threat of swallowing geese poo whilst swimming in the lake!

If you're able to contribute a little bit to the MS Society's research - and to motivate me to stay afloat - it would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you <3
